PERSONAL ITEMS
A Pahiatua visitor to Pongaroa is Mrs Stinson. Mrs J. Treder, of Konini, has Mrs T. G. Stewart as her guest. Mrs C. E. Taylor, Waireka, is spending a few days in Wellington. Mrs Shaw, who has been on a holiday to Auckland, has returned to Pongaroa. Miss J. Kent, Pongaroa, has returned home after a visit to friends in South Wairarapa. Mrs Howard Booth and Miss Nola Booth, Carterton, have returned from a visit to Christchurch. Mrs Vic Brazendal and family, of Lower Hutt, are staying with Mrs Arthur Haigh in Greytown. Mr and Mrs T. N. Smallwood and family, of Wellington, were visitors to Greytown for the week-end. Mr G. F. Parkes has resigned his position with the Pahiatua Post Office to join his father in business. Miss Kirk and Mrs Peryman are Wellington delegates to the W.C.T.U. conference at Timaru this week. Mr and Mrs I. Meldrum, who had been residents of Pahiatua for some months, have left for Waipawa Where Mr Meldrum has accepted a position. FEATHERSTON Mr and Mrs J. Stringer, Hastings, were week-end guests of Mrs Chas. Rea. Mrs T. O’Connell, Wellington, visited her sister, Mrs J. B. Davis, over the week-end. . ,
