LOST PLANE

WRECKAGE DISCOVERED IN MEXICO. ELEVEN PERSONS MISSING. MEXICO CITY, August 13. Planes seeking an overdue Mexican Aviation Company’s transport carrying eight passengers and a crew of three, which was last reported in a rainstorm near Puerto, Mexico, report having sighted the wreckage of an airliner at the foot of a hill in heavily wooded country near San Andreas, Tuxtla. The wreckage has apparently been swept by fire. There are no signs of any. occupants. Land parties are fighting floods in an attempt to reach the scene.
