BALL AT BIDEFORD
GOLF CLUB GATHERING. The Bideford Hall wr/s transformed with greenery, .ferns, streamers, and balloons into a most attractive setting for the Bideford Golf Club’s fifth annual ball on ’’Thursday night. There was an excellent attendance of dancers from all parts of the district. The popularity of this annual event is well established, and the committee was amply repaid for its careful preparation. The ladies’ committee consisted of Mesdames C. Percy, J. Donald, W. Percy, Terence Falloon, Nicholls, Bell, Misses Marion Falloon, Carter, and Joyce Wrigley. Mrs E. Wrigley was social secretary, with Mr R. Falloon,and much valued assistance was also given by the men of the club.
