TABLE TENNIS MATCHES (“Times-Age” Special.) The Mauriceville East and Mauriceville West clubs met in an association competition round at Mauriceville East on Wednesday evening. After some very evenly contested games West won the B grade by 13 games to 7 games, and the D and E grades by 12 to 8, and 16 to 4 respectively, while East won the C grade match by 13 games to 7. On Monday evening the East club will play a return match against Nireaha at Mauriceville, and a match will also be played against Kuripuni on Wednesday. LABOUR PARTY’S DANCE The Mauriceville branch of the Labour Party held a most successful dance on Thursday evening. Splendid music was supplied by Te Tau’s orchestra, and the duties of M’s.C. were ably carried out by Messrs K. L. Ross and J. A. Baine. The Monte Carlo waltz was won by Mrs K. Clements and H. Neilsen.
