CHURCH SERVICES

“The Seeming Cross Purposes of Life” will be the subject of the morning sermon in the Methodist Church tomorrow, answering the frequent question “Why did it happen?” The evening topic will be “Life—and the Breaking Point” —a study of the forces that confront the people today. The preacher at both services will be the Rev Frederick J. Parker. At the Kuripuni Methodist Church tomorrow Pastor C. H. Skuse will speak on the subjects, “Our Great Commission as a Church” and “Jesus Christ—Our Saviour,” both preparatory thoughts for the church anniversary on Sunday week. The services at the Salvation Armj r tomorrow will be conducted by Adjutant Hutchins, an Indian Army officer. The speaker at each service will be Sister Mrs McLean, of Dannevirke. The attention of members of Knox Church is drawn to the fact that Communion services will be held tomorrow.
