COSY THEATRE

ROMANTIC COMEDY. The current programme at the Cosy Theatre will be finally shown tonight with the romantic comedy, “And So They Were Married,” as the star picture. “SCHOOL FOR HUSBANDS.” “School For Husbands,” at the Cosy Theatre this week, presents husbands and wives with splendid opportunities of seeing themselves as ■ others see them as well as pointing many a moral to those about to be married. It is unquestionably one of the most brilliant comedies to come to the Cosy Theatre, its piquant humour and delicate situations being put over by an all-star cast. Diana Churchill and June Clyde appear as two wives. The husbands in the case, Henry Kendall and Romney Brent, are devoted but unimaginative, and it is left to a literary Don Juan, in the person of Rex Harrison, to point the way to true martial bliss, but not before the charms of one wife have prevented him from eloping with the other. The impact of a valiant girl’s love against the inbred tiger-code of sinister waterfronts makes “Nurse From Brooklyn,” Universal’s exciting picture which will open at the Cosy Theatre tomorrow night, one of the most unusual dramatic romances ever to hit the screen. Sally Eilers and Paul Kelly head the cast in the roles of the nurse and the policeman. They have strong support in the stellar performances of Larry Blake and Maurice Murphy.
