SCHOOLS CLOSED
<> MEASLES IN CANTERBURY. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. Eight Canterbury schools have been authorised to close because half or more of their pupils arc absent through illness, principally measles. Most of the schools concerned are small country schools, but they include Phillipstown, a Christchurch suburban school and South Bridge. The approach of the term holidays will mean that the curriculum will not be seriously affected.
