BANK RAIDED
PALESTINE GANG SECURES £5,000 SUGGESTION IN JEWISH PRESS. FALLING OFF IN FUNDS FROM ABROAD. (Recd This Day. 12.15 p.m.) JERUSALEM, August 10. An armed gang held up the branch of Barclay’s Bank at Nablus and escaped with £5OOO. The Jewish Press reports that gang leaders are worried at the cutting off of funds from abroad and have decided to raise £25,000 locally, suggesting that the hold-up is a forerunner of others.
