The “Daily Telegraph’s” Berlin correspondent says the nervousness of the German in the street is increasing. At present there is more talk of the danger of war than in May, when tension appeared greatest to the outside world. The calling up of reservists for training in the autumn is intensifying the feeling of uncertainty. Germans are beginning to inquire the purpose of Press attacks on Czechoslovakia if it not proposed to follow them up with action.
