CHARGE OF ASSAULT
ACCUSED FOUND NOT GUILTY. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) NEW PLYMOUTH, August 9. After a retirement of 20 minutes this morning the jury returned a verdicr of not guilty in the case in which William Thomas Rosewarne, Frqfae" Road, near Hawera, was charged with assaulting Charlie Tumoana so as to cause bodily harm and alternatively with common assault. The charges arose out of occurrences at what was described as a drinking party at the home of accused.
