DEFENDED BY MR LYONS MR HUGHES’S CRITICISM DISCOUNTED. BUT DIRECT COMMUNICATION FAVOURED. (Recd This Day, 10.40 a.m.) BRISBANE, This Day. Commenting on Mr W. M. Hughes’s criticism of the Dominions’ Office, the Federal Prime Minister, Mr J. A. Lyons, said he had not encountered any needless waste of time in his dealings with the Office.
