MAN CHARGED IN PALMERSTON NORTH SAFE REMOVED FROM BREWERY (By Telegraph—Press Association.) PALMERSTON N„ This Day. As a sequel to the disappearance of a safe last Thursday night from the premises of a brewer in Taonui Street, and the discovery of the safe forced open a few miles from the city by a farmer, Leonard Norman Crawford, aged 31, a labourer, was charged in the Magistrate’s Court today with breaking and entering and the theft of a safe, books and money to a total value of £2O. Accused was remanded.
