-+ WAIRARAPA CLUB’S RACE SPLENDID WIN BY R. KILLINGTON u A junior member of the Wairarapa Amateur Cycling Club, starting off the limit of 9mins on Saturday, led all the way to win the 25 mile race to the Black Bridge and back. The details
are as follow: — R. Killington (9mins), 1; W. Gay (71 mins), 2; D. Mayes (7Amins), 3. Fastest time:—K. Woollett, 1; J. Brader, 2; R. Copp, 3. Next week the club will hold a race at Carterton for a trophy presented by Mr G. A. Vincent. The course will be one of six circuits round a three mile block. The same block, it will be remembered, was used foi’ the club’s first race on April 2.
