Mrs G. A. Vincent, of Carterton, has left on a visit to Gisborne. Miss M. Stringfellow, of Wanganui, was a week-end visitor to Greytown. Dr Maisie Gow, of Wellington, is the guest of Mrs H. E. Pith er, Lansdowne. Mrs R. C. Satherly has returned to Pongaroa after a visit paid to Levin. Mrs R. Burling, of Masterton, •'who has been visiting Wellington, has returned home. Mrs R. Gray, of Te Rehunga, has been the guest of Mrs W. E. Davies, of Pongaroa. Mrs W. Hodge, of Greytown, who has been on a visit to Newman, has returned home. Mrs T. R. Barrer, Renall Street, Masterton, accompanied by her son, Dr R. M, Barrer, is visiting Christchurch. Mrs G. D. Oliver, Cambridge Terrace, Masterton, is staying with her mother, Mrs Pauli, Heads Street, Wanganui. Mrs J, Wakelin, of Worksop Road, Masterton, with her little daughter, has left for Gisborne, where she will be the guest of her sister. At the monthly meeting of the Pahiatua Women’s Division of the Farmers’ Union, Mrs Curtin, a member of the committee, who is to take up her residence in the South Island, was presented with a crystal water jug as a token of the esteem in which she was held.
