AUSTRALIA V. SCOTLAND MATCH ENDS IN DRAW. WARD PLAYS GOOD INNINGS. By Telegraph—Press Association. Copyright. (Reed This Day, 10.29 a.m.) LONDON, August 5. The cricket match between Scotland and Australia was drawn. The Australians punished the weak bowling and lost wickets cheerfully for a total of 320 runs, scored in 145 minutes. Fingleton, Ward and Brown between them hit nine sixers. Scotland had seven wickets still to fall at 5 p.m.. with only an hour left for play.

O’Reilly, Fleetwood-Smith and Ward secured quick wickets but Badcock was then brought on and bowled seven fantastic overs, McCabe exercising all his ingenuity to give Scotland the satisfaction of a draw.
