TWO MEN SAFE
MOVEMENTS ON WEST COAST.
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, This Day.
The police have ascertained that the two men, William Don and Maurice Beveridge, who were prospecting at Kaipo Bay, 30 miles north of Milford in November and according to an earlier message had not been seen or heard of since March, broke camp some months ago, one taking up work at Jackson’s Bay while the other proceeded to Greymouth. When the two men were put ashore at Kaipo Bay. timber to make a flatbottomed boat was left with them and it was the finding of the wreckage of the boat on the beach at Barn Bay that gave rise to fears for their safety.
