TEARS IN CLOTHES
A MENDING HINT. A novel way to mend small tears in your clothes is to buy a twopenny packet of skin plaster and cut off a piece the size required. Then moisten the plaster and also your material and press the plaster over the back of the tear. Be sure to press hard with a cold iron until stuck.
