The fate of the post office clock at New Plymouth is in the balance, and before long the civic authorities may be asked what they intend doing with the municipal timepiece. Though the clock is at present accommodated in the tower of the existing post office, it is the property of the New Plymouth Borough Council, which is responsible for its annual mainTenance.
