BASKETBALL
REPRESENTATIVE GAMES. TOMORROW'S PROGRAMME. All A and B grade matches set down for tomorrow have been postponed and there will be three representative fixtures played in Masterton on the Wairarapa College courts instead. This is a fine opportunity for all who enjoy a fast, hard-fought game to see basketball at its best. Admission will be free, but a collection will be taken up, the proceeds to ’go towards the expenses of the representative team to Timaru. The matches will be played as follows:— 2 p.m., court II: Hutt Valley v. Wairarapa B team. Referee, J. Rayne. 2.30 p.m., court I: Pahiatua v. Wairarapa A team. Referee, D. O'Donnell. 3.45 p.m., court I: Palmerston Woolworths v. Masterton Woolworths. Referee, R. Edwards. The Wairarapa teams are as follow: — A team: Forwards, N. Cohen, P. Hanley, E. Jones; centres, R.
