FROZEN MEAT
LONDON MARKET REPORT. The Bank of Australasia has received the following cable, dated London August 2: —"Frozen lambs, prices weaker owing to increased arrivals this month, principally applicable to secondary lambs, a larger proportion of which has come to hand. There has been a fair demand, however, and the market continues steady. Frozen mutton: Larger quantities New Zealand wethers, together with poor demand, responsible for lower prices. Rather more enquiry for ewes, prices only slightly easier. Frozen beef: Supplies increased and values weaker."
