ENCOURAGING CONFIDENCE IN CANADA. OTTAWA, Canada. The greatest boom to prosperity in Canada would be to encourage that confidence that permits the investment of capital, stated the Hon. W. D. Euler, Minister of Trade and Commerce in the Canadian Government, in addressing a gathering of manufacturers here recently. Mr Euler said that there was a really perceptible trend in the revival of industry from the slight recession that had taken place in the past year; good crops in Western Canada would create a feeling of optimism that would be felt throughout the Dominion and which would be reflected in general business.
