WICKET UNFIT FOR PLAY BRADMAN’S SPORTING ACTION. AUSTRALIA-GLAMORGAN GAME DRAWN. By Telegraph—Press Association. Copyright. (Recd This Day, 9.55 a.m.) LONDON, ugust 2. The match between Australia and Glamorgan was drawn. There was only 11 hours play today. Although the wicket was unfit for play, Bradman, in order not to disappoint the spectators waiting at the gates all day, agreed to start at 4 p.m. Fingleton who has been out of form since passing his 900 runs on the tour, is finding the obtaining of his thousand runs most elusive. He still needed nine runs to reach the coveted hofiour when he was snapped up at the wicket. The conditions were tricky. Brown was half an hour before he scored, and, after making 8 runs in an hour, was caught in the slips. Bradman stepped out, missed an excellent ball, and was stumped.
