TOUR OF CANADA
SCOTTISH FARMERS' PARTY. OTTAWA, Canada. Canadian agriculture in all its varied phases, including small farms in Eastern, and Central Canada, wheatgrowing in the Prairies, the extensive fruit areas and the many dairying establishments, were all included in the itinerary of a party of 91 Scottish farmers who visited the Dominion last month. They inspected not only the smaller privately-owned farms but also the splendidly equipped Canadian Government Experimental Farms located throughout the Dominion. Some of the party journeyed across the Dominion to Vancouver, Canada’s busy seaport on the Pacific coast, while others remained in Eastern Canada. All of them sailed home to Scotland from Montreal.
