Ottawa, Canada. —Vegetable oils to the value of 1,405,937 dollars were imported into Canada during April compared with 1,093,804 dollars in April last year. Imports of palm and kernel oil were valued at 571,528 dollars, and peanut oil 461,885 dollars. The former came chiefly from Nigeria and the Straits Settlements and the latter mainly from the United Kingdom and China.
