The “Daily Telegraph’s” Instanbul correspondent says considerable interest is being attached to the weekend conference "of Japanese diplomatic representatives with those of Russia, the Balkans, Egypt, Irak, Iran, Afghanistan and the Arab States. It is reported that Japan intends to intensify her anti-Communist activities in the Near East, where in any event she is trying to strengthen her political and economic influence.
