WHEN ENTERING A ROOM
DO IT CORRECTLY When entering a room, be surd that you do it correctly. If the door, bpens inwards, with the handle on the left, take the door knob in the right 'hand as you open the door, and then push it wide open with the arm extended. Then as you enter the room allow the left hand to swing behind you and take the door knob from the right hand. Take a step backwards and close the door. Remember that you must always face the room, and never turn your back upon its occupant. If the door handle is on the right of the door, reverse your movements. If the door is one which opens towards you, with the handle on the left, grasp the handle with your right hand, open the door towards you, and as you enter the room change over to the left hand and pull the door shut as you enter. This art of entering a room correctly is very important, as you never can tell when you will be applying for a position, and many employers base their first opinion of a prospective employee from their deportment.
