MOVING LETTER
QUEEN MARIE'S FAREWELL TO RUMANIANS. ’’COUNTRY OF MY JOYS & GRIEFS" By Telegraph—Press Association. Copyright. BUCHAREST, July 29. A moving letter, written by Queen Marie to the Rumanian people just before her death, begs them to remember her by the name "Mother of All,” which was given her during the Great War. "After the war I was forgotten; but that is the fate of all mothers,” says the letter, which was published simultaneously with her will in which she leaves various castles to each of her children, including the exiled Prince Nicholas. "Bless you. my dear Rumania, country of my joys and griefs,” the letter ends.
