THE ANNUAL WAIRARAPA TOURNAMENT. CENTRAL WIN IN SENIOR GRADE. A record number of 29 teams competed, in the annual Wairarapa Primary Schools seven-a-side Rugby tournament, held this morning at Rugby Park." A good standard of play was set in all grades and some keen and interesting contests were witnessed. Central School won in the senior grade for the first time in six years. Results: — Senior. Greytown beat St Patrick's by default; St Mary’s beat Central B, 3 —o; Carterton beat West, 9 —o; Central A beat Martinborough 9 —l. Semi-finals: Greytown beat St.Mary’s 6—o; Central A beat Carterton 20—0. Final: Central A beat Greytown 5— Junior. Semi-finals: Carterton A beat Greytown 9 —6; Martinborough beat West, I—o.1 —0. Final: Carterton beat Martinborough 6— Third Grade. Semi-finals: Martinborough beat Greytown, 6—o; Central A beat Kahautara Final: Martinborough beat Central, 6—l.
