PRESENTATION OF TROPHIES. There was a large attendance at the annual ball of the Kaiparoro Rifle Club and a most enjoyable time was spent. At the interval Mr C. Welch, president of the Club, took the opportunity to thank all those who had kindly donated trophies, and the ladies for their valuable assistance throughout the season and in the dance arrangements. He made particular reference to the number of young members of the club who had been successful during the season. It was very gratifying to all. He then called on Mr W. Simpson, patron, of the club, toxpresent the trophies. The. list of trophies presented was as follows: —Championship Cup presented by Mr W. Simpson and won by C. Welch. Championship Runner-up Cup presented by the Henson Bros, won by D. J. Dick. Handicap Championship Cup, won by C. Welch. Handicap Championship Runner-up Cup, presented by C. Dagg, won by W. Braddick. Long Range Aggregate Cup presented by A. J. Welch and won by C. Welch. Tyro Cup presented by P. L. Henson and won by D. J. Dick. Service Rose Bowl, presented by W. Knowles,' won by O. Walton.
