The staff of the Carterton District High School played a team drawn from the secondary pupils. After a fast and interesting game the scores were 8 all. After the game afternoon tea was served by the pupils. PERSONAL. Mr W. E. Fossette, who has received notice of his appointment to the position of headmaster to the Carterton District High School, will take up his new duties • shortly. Mr Fossette has been headmaster of the Woodville District High School for the past 21 years.
