VIOLIN RECITAL

BY ALAN LOVEDAY On Saturday night next, at 8 o’clock, Alan Loveday, of Palmerston North, who is described by critics as the wonder boy violinist, will give a recital under the auspices of the British Music Society at St Matthew’s Collegiate School assembly hall, at 8 o’clock. He has met with great receptions on the numerous occasions on which he has appeared on the concert platform, and although only 10 years of age, has a wonderful mastery over the violin. A great future is predicted for him. The recital at St Matthew’s Collegiate School on Saturday might well afford music lovers a rare opportunity of hearing this young genius.
