COMMONWEALTH AND STATE SURPLUSES. (Recd This Day, 10.40 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. The surplus in the accounts of all Governments in Australia, Commonwealth and State, for the year 1937, amounted to £3,515,000. Queensland and Western Australia were the only States that ended the year with a deficit.
