WAGES REDUCED
MEN CEASE WORK. TROUBLE AT DENNISTON. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WESTPORT, July 26. Men engaged on a new school site in Denniston have decided to cease work as a protest against the action of the Government in reducing their wages. The matter has been taken up by the local union and referred to Wellington for settlement. It is stated to be a question of Dominion-wide interest.
