OUTLAW BULLOCK

CHARGES THROUGH WINDOW. EXCITEMENT IN BLENHEIM. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) BLENHEIM, July 26. An exciting variant of the bull in a china shop incident was enacted with destructive consequences this morning when an outlaw bullock en route to the abattoirs broke away and careered into the, town. The animal charged through the plateglass show window of Tomlinson and Gifford’s electrical and radio goods shop. Just previously it had bailed up a motorist, and, in attempting to hurdle caused some damage. After shattering the shop window the bullock burst through into the shop, scattering electrical fittings and radio cabinets and dripping blood from a wound in its nose. It next barged into the workroom, where a startled assistant dived through the back door, out of which the animal made its exit.
