DANCE AT GLADSTONE

NATIONAL PARTY FUNCTION There was a large attendance at a dance held in the Gladstone Hall last night by the local branch of the National Party. The evening proved a most enjoyable one under the able guidance of Messrs C. Wyeth, K. Joblin and J. Eaton, M’s.C.« Udy’s orchestra played the dance music. Supper was provided by a ladies’ committee in charge of Mrs Wyeth, the other members of the committee being Mesdames McLachlin, W. Cave, E. Hart, E. Foreman, J. Benbow, K. Wyeth, K. Joblin, K. Groves, S. Dalgleish, K. Scott, J. Eaton, McLean, G. Baird and C. Madsen and Misses Turley and Wyeth. Mr J. Cooper was the secretary, who was responsible for the general arrangements. A contest for a cake was won by Miss M. Wyeth.
