Y.M.C.A. ADDITIONS
CONSIDERATION BY DIRECTORS. \ FURTHER DONATIONS MADE. The directors of the Masterton Y.M.C.A., at a meeting last night, gave further consideration to the matter of completing the additions to the Y.M.C.A. building. Estimates of the cost of finishing the work were placed before the meeting. As far as the directors were concerned they were of the opinion that the work should be proceeded with, although at the present time sufficient funds were not available to carry out the work free of debt to the association. The matter was left in the hands of the building committee, with power to act, after it had obtained full information as to the cost of completion of the work. As the result of the reports of directors at last night’s meeting, it is estimated that the funds now stand at about £lBO. Additional donations to the fund forks’ completing the building are acknowledged by Mr A. E. Bate, general secretary, as follow:—
