MASTERTON CLUB GAMES. FOURBALL BOGEY COMPETITION. A fourball bogey competition was played by members of the Masterton Golf Club on Saturday. The results were: —T. Horton Junr. and G. Falloon 7 up; L. Connolly and C. R. Boys 6 up; S. R. Divers and L. Kibblewhite 6 up; C. R. Judd and D. Stratton 5 up. The competition for the Jameson Cup resulted: —T. Horton Junr. and G. Falloon 8 up; C. R. Boys and L. Connolly 7 up; D. Stratton and C. R. Judd 7 up; R. B. Cameron and J. Coom 6 up; C. Perry and N. H. Prior 5 up; C. C. Marsack and E. M. Hodder 5 up.
MAHUNGA CLUB. STABLEFORD BOGEY CONTEST. The following were the best cards returned for a Stableford bogey competition played on Saturday by members of the Mahunga Golf Club: —R. Lendrum. 41; I. McFarlane, 40; A. H. Ward, 36; S. Jenkins, 35; W. Johansen, 34; E. Jenkins, 33; R. L. Hughes, 32; V. Burridge. 32; K. Donald, 32. In the second round of the captain’s trophy, W. W. Hendry beat R. J. Smith. LADIES’ GAMES. The final qualifying round in connection with the Mills Cup competition was played on Saturday by the lady members. The following were the best scores handed in (net scores): — Mrs A. H. Ward, 70; Mrs L. M. Roach, 71; Miss U. Holtham, 77; Miss N. Smith, 77; Miss M. Johnson, 77; Miss P. Madsen, 79.
