CHARITY BALL

NEXT MONTH’S ATTRACTION. The presentation of the debutantes to His Grace Archbishop O’Shea, S.M., D.D., at the Charity Ball to be held in the Municipal Hall on Wednesday, August 3, will take place at 8.45 p.m. This feature of the ball is always spectacular and attractive and is arranged by the committee so as not to interrupt the dancing for any great length of time. The committee has adopted the principle followed in previous years of not issuing personal invitations owing to the wide area that the ball covers. The same high class standard will be maintained by an efficient committee, which will control the ball on enjoyable and congenial lines. Udy’s Orchestra will supply the- music and an auxiliary orchestra has been engaged to play during the supper interval, thus maintained continuous dancing.
