TREE PLANTING

CEREMONY AT WAIRARAPA COLLEGE. NEXT WEEK'S PROJECT. The Principal of Wairarapa College, Mr G. G. Hancox, with the authority of the Board of Governors, • has arranged for planting some deciduous trees adjoining the drive between the Hostel and the College, and at a social gathering last night it was agreed that the planting should take place at 3 p.m. on Friday next, July 29. Each of the trees will be planted by a lady member of the committee of the Parents’ Association, and the name of the lady will be shown on an attached board. In addition, a tree will be planted by Mrs Walter Nops, who recently made a very generous gift of land to the College.
