Damages Awarded.
General damages totalling £1350 and special damages amounting to £616 were awarded to Hylton Burgess Tonks, springmaker, Miramar, in the Supreme Court at Wellington yesterday in a case in which he claimed £4OOO damages from William Vivian Mitchell, Awa Street, Seatoun, for injuries received in a collision with a motor-car driven by defendant. The case was heard before Mr Justice Blair and a jury.
