MURDER CHARGE AGAINST YOUNG WOMAN By Telegraph—Press Association. AUCKLAND, This Day. The trial of Hazel Frances Evans, of dering her five-months-old female Aratapu, aged 21, on a charge of murchild by drowning in the Northern Wairoa River in April was continued in the Supreme Court today before Mr Justice Fair and a jury. In answer to Mr R. A. Singer, who is appearing for the accused. Detectice Finlay said he had come to the conclusion that accused had the mentality of a girl of 14 years. In her statement she said the birth of the child had not been registered, though actually she had, herself, registered the birth in January.
