WATERLOO CUP. MASTERTON COMPETITORS. Three Masterton dogs left today for Invercargill to compete at the Waterloo Cup meeting to be held on Thursday, Friday and Saturday of next week. These dogs were Mr W. James’s “Clipper,” which has won three open stakes at Masterton this year; Mr E. J. Wing’s “Rereatu,” which divided the Waterloo Cup event at Masterton last year, and Mr L. Archer’s “Golden King,” placed third in last year’s Waterloo Cup and a consolation winner this year.
