FEATHERSTON

(“Times-Age” Special.) A very pleasant time was spent in the South Featherston Hall on Wednesday when a parcel evening, euchre and dance was given for Miss.M. Gunderson and Mr P. Curry, whose marriage will take place shortly. There was a very large attendance and a happy spirit prevailed. The euchre results were: Ladies, Mrs Mellish 1, consolation, Mrs J., Blain. Men: Mr J. Blain 1, consolation, Mr R. Jepson. A guessing things in the room competition was won by Mrs R. Foss. After supper Mr Wilton, in a few well chosen words, called upon Miss Gunderson to open the many parcels. Mr Curry suitably replied. The remainder of the evening was spent in dancing. -
