PARIS TO SPANISH FRONTIER. At a recent lecture given at the Sorbonne, the Paris University, M. Pierre Guinand, head of the French National Railways, announced that the line between Paris and Hendaye, on the Spanish frontier, will be completely electrified this year. The line from Paris to Hendaye measures 510 miles, and will be the longest electrified line in France. Electric traction has been in use for some time on this line between Paris and Tours, and Bordeaux and Hendaye, and the gap between Tours and Bordeaux, 213 miles, will be completed this year.
