RESIGNATION OF MATRON. APPRECIATION OF SPLENDID RECORD. The resignation of Miss G. Berry, Matron of the Pahiatua Hospital, was accepted with regret at today’s meeting of the Wairarapa Hospital Board. Miss Berry has been in the employ of the board for the past 21 years and tributes were paid by the chairman, Mr H. H. Mawley, and other members to the splendid record of Miss Berry and to her valuable services over a long period of years, it was decided to place on record appreciation of her services.
