PROFESSOR F. W. OGILVIE. (Recd This Day, 12.10 p.m.) LONDON, July 19. Professor Frederick Wolff Ogilvie, President and Vice-Chancelloi- of Queen’s University. Belfast, since 1934. has been appointed Director-General of the British Broadcasting Corporation. The position is believed to be worth £7,000 a year.
