LESS ACTIVE DEMAND IN LONDON. (Recd This Day, 10.40 a.m.) LONDON, July 19. At the wool sales ,9124 bales were offered, including 2822 New Zealand and 7468 were sold. There was a moderate selection and the demand was less active. Withdrawals were more frequent, especially of inferior greasy Merinos, owing to high limits. Other kinds sold well at ruling rates. New Zealand sales: — Greasy merino, Burwood IOJd to lid; greasy crossbreds, Burwood, 8d to 9|d; halfbred, Okukupass, lOld to 12ld; slipe halfbred lambs, Eclipse, 112 d to 12d.
