AMATEURS MAKE GOOD PROGRESS Excellent progress is being made by the Masterton Amateur Theatrical Society in preparation for its production of “The Cingalee,” which is to be presented in the Opera House, Masterton, from August 13 to August 20.. Last night, the first rehearsal of the complete show took place in the Opera House. Bright music and comedy are features of “The Cingalee,” while a number of outstanding ballets have been introduced. In addition to the usual run, the production will be presented for one night at a later date, in aid of the Opera House Furnishing Fund.
