DEATH OF QUEEN MARIE
* LATE RETURN FROM DRESDEN. (Recd This Day, 12.15 p.m.) BUCHAREST, July 18. The tolling of bells in churches and monastries at Sinia announced the death of Queen Marie (Rumanian Queen Mother) at Pelishor Castle, where she arrived on Sunday from Dresden, which she had visited for ex- 1 pert treatment. Her illness is described as a liver affection, causing haemorrhages. King Carol and Crown Prince Michael were at the Queen’s bedside.
