WOOL IN LONDON
STEADY MARKET REPORTED. (Recd This Day, 11.45 a.m.) .LONDON, July 18. The Bradford market is very firm but quiet. A majority of users have covered their needs. At the wool sales, 7.441 bales were offered, including' 4,287 bales of New Zealand wool and 6,460 were sold. There was a moderate selection, chiefly of New Zealand crossbreds. Competition continued active and good clearances were effected at steady rates. Quotations: New Zealand greasy Corriedale, Adriverina, lOd to lid, ditto crossbred, 9jd to lOd; scoured N.Z./WMA/A/100 8d to 13d; slipe halfbred lambs, TBS Canterbury, BJd to 12Jd; Feilding, three stars, lljd to 13£d.
